A number of schools in Merthyr Tydfil have been supporting Road Safety Week 2017 in different ways. Well done to all of them for their enthusiasm and commitment!

The theme this year is Speed Down Save Lives. With everyone living busy lives there is a temptation to speed up in the hope of saving time, when in fact you will only arrive at your destination fractionally earlier than if you had driven within the posted speed limits.

Pupils engaged with parents at the school gate to pass on this and other important information about driving safely past their schools and within their community.
